As part of a multidisciplinary and multi-agency setting, guided by the NMP Lead, Assistant Medical Director, and the Service’s Medical Lead, your contributions will be pivotal in delivering recovery-driven alcohol and drug intervention services.Perks and Benefits:- Competitive Hourly Rate: With £55 per hour, your expertise is highly valued, translating into lucrative earnings.- Flexibility: Enjoy the adaptability that locum work offers, providing you with control over your work-life balance.- Career Growth: Engage in a setting that empowers personal development and broadens professional horizons.- Supportive Work Environment: Be part of an enthusiastic team that values your input and encourages innovative approaches.- Discover Sheffield: Experience a city rich in culture and vibrant activities, perfect for both work and play.What You Will Do:- Conduct assessments, diagnoses, and develop treatment plans for service users.- Integrate drug and non-drug-based strategies to plan and evaluate patient care.- Determine service users’ eligibility for in-patient detoxification for alcohol and opioids.- Manage and revise clinical treatment plans to maximize outcomes.- Prescribe medication and make necessary adjustments in adherence to best practice guidelines.- Educate service users about medication options, potential side effects, and interactions.- Quickly address high-priority health issues, collaborating with the Clinical Lead when required.- Assess and facilitate referrals for patients with mental health concerns.- Mentor service users in health-promoting behaviors and strategies.Requirements:To qualify, you must be a registered pharmacist with a current GPhC registration and at least two years of post-qualification experience, or a first-level registered nurse with a valid PIN and a minimum of three years post-qualification experience, with at least one year in substance misuse treatment.
