Sanctuary Personnel is excited to present a fantastic permanent Registered Veterinary Surgeon position with one of the UK's largest veterinary retailers based in Chichester.The role is offering a salary of £55,000 to £65,000 per annum.Main duties/responsibilities: Diagnosis and Treatment: Examine animals, diagnose illnesses, and provide appropriate treatments or medications.Surgery: Perform routine and emergency surgeries, such as spaying, neutering, or repairing injuries.Preventive Care: Administer vaccinations, provide parasite control, and offer health advice to pet owners.Animal Welfare: Ensure the well-being of animals by promoting responsible pet ownership and addressing health or welfare concerns.Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate records of treatments, surgeries, and patient progress. What we're looking for from Veterinary Surgeon applicants: Degree in Veterinary Medicine from a recognised university.Membership in the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS).Previous experience as a veterinary surgeon is highly desirable.Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.Comprehensive knowledge of veterinary best practices and medical regulations.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact positively with clients and their pets.Ability to handle a variety of animals safely and effectively.Willingness to continually upgrade knowledge and skills in veterinary medicine.
