KPI Recruiting are on the look out for a Saw Operator for our client based in Bristol.As a Saw Operator your working hours and days are: Shift 1 Monday- Friday 06:30- 14:30Shift 2 Monday- Thursday 12:00- 22:30 The rate of pay as a Saw Operator is: £13.00 p/h The duties and responsibilities as a Saw Operator are: Select appropriate saw blades, adjust cutting speeds, and position materials for precise cutsMonitor sawing operations to ensure accuracy, quality, and adherence to safety protocolsPerform routine maintenance on saws, including blade changes, lubrication, and adjustmentsTroubleshoot and resolve minor mechanical issues to minimise downtimeInspect finished cuts for defects, accuracy, and compliance with quality standardsMaintain inventory of cutting tools and consumables, ensuring adequate supply levelsFollow all safety procedures and maintain a clean and organised work areaCollaborate with team members to optimise production efficiency and meet deadlinesSet up and operate sawing equipment to cut aluminium and stainless steel according to specificationsRead and interpret work orders, blueprints, and technical drawings to determine cutting requirements The ideal candidate for a Saw Operator would require: Manufacturing 1 year experience is requiredPrevious experience as a Saw TechnicianProficient in operating and maintaining various types of saws used for cutting aluminium and stainless steelFamiliarity with reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and work ordersStrong attention to detail and ability to perform accurate measurementsKnowledge of safety protocols and best practices in an industrial settingMechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve minor equipment issuesExcellent organisational skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environmentFlexibility to work rotating shifts, including early mornings and late eveningsPhysical stamina and strength to lift heavy materials and operate machinery safelyExperience of operating Counter Balance and Reach Fork Lift Trucks - in house license will be accepted If this role as a Saw Operator is for you then please APPLY NOW or submit your resume and cover letter outlining your relevant experience and qualifications to Hayleys@kpir.co.ukAbout KPI Recruiting.KPI Recruiting is a leading recruitment agency with branches throughout the UK.
