Production Operative in Wrexham

Recruit4staff is proud to be representing their client, a leading food manufacturing company, in their search for a Production Operative to join their Wrexham based facility.

For the successful Production Operative, our client is offering:

• Pay rate of £12.50 per hour
• Rotating shifts
  • Shift 1 (40 hours): Monday – 07:30am to 18:30pm, Tuesday to Friday 16:30pm to 01:00am
  • Shift 2 (40 hours): Tuesday to Saturday 07:30am to 16:30pm
• Temporary to permanent Contract
• Free parking 

The role – Production Operative:

• Assisting in the packing and processing of poultry products, including bird rehanging, grading, trussing, and labelling
• Operating various equipment and machinery including scales and pallet trucks (training/licence provided if required)
• Supporting the team to meet daily KPI and production targets
• Maintaining high standards of food safety, hygiene, and quality control
• Performing a range of cleaning and sanitation duties in line with site requirements
• Ensuring adherence to animal welfare guidelines and company hygiene policies
• Flexible working across other departments as required

What our client is looking for in a Production  Operative:

• Previous food manufacturing experience - ESSENTIAL 
• Comfortable working in a raw poultry environment
• Physically fit and able to perform manual handling tasks
• A team player with a can-do attitude and willingness to learn new skills
• Previous experience in food production or poultry processing – DESIRABLE
• Previous Despatch experience  – DESIRABLE
