Terms and Conditions for Voceer.com
Effective date: 30 September 2026
These Terms and Conditions govern your use of Voceer.com and the services made available through it. By creating an account, accessing the platform, purchasing a service, or continuing to use Voceer, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you should not use the platform.
1. About Voceer and these Terms
In these Terms, “Voceer”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Voceer.com. “You” means the person or business using the platform. Some services are available to jobseekers and some are provided to employers, recruiters and other business users.
Paid employer subscriptions and employer recruitment tools are intended for users acting for business, trade or professional purposes and are not offered as consumer subscriptions.
2. Accounts and account security
- You must provide accurate information and keep your account details reasonably up to date.
- You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity carried out through your account.
- You must tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.
- You must not share access in a way that bypasses account permissions, plan controls or security safeguards.
3. Jobseeker information, CV visibility and access requests
Jobseekers may provide CVs, employment history, skills, contact details, job preferences and other recruitment information. Where the relevant service and settings permit, registered employers and recruiters may discover searchable jobseeker profile information for recruitment purposes.
A jobseeker's private contact details and uploaded CV are not made available to an employer merely because the employer discovers the jobseeker in the CV Database. Employers may be able to contact a jobseeker through Voceer's private messaging service and may request permission to access the jobseeker's private CV and contact details. The jobseeker can approve or decline such a request. Approval applies to the requesting employer/company and does not make the information generally public to other employers.
Where a jobseeker applies for an employer's vacancy, the employer may access information supplied or made available as part of that application and recruitment relationship without needing a separate CV Database access request.
Jobseekers may choose whether to receive certain optional email alerts about employer messages and CV/contact access requests. Turning an optional email alert off does not necessarily remove the underlying message or request from the jobseeker's Voceer account. Important account, security, compliance and other necessary service communications may still be sent where appropriate.
You are responsible for ensuring that information you submit is accurate, lawful and does not infringe the rights of another person. Voceer does not guarantee that an employer will contact you, offer an interview or offer employment.
4. Employer CRM and candidate data
Employer users may use Voceer to manage candidates, notes, pipeline activity, interviews, offers, follow-ups, communications, talent pools and, where enabled, compliance information and documents.
- Employers are responsible for ensuring they have a lawful basis to collect, upload, access and use candidate information.
- Employers must only use candidate information for legitimate recruitment, hiring, workforce or related business purposes.
- Employers must keep their own internal access permissions appropriate and must not disclose candidate information to unauthorised people.
- Voceer is not responsible for information independently copied, exported, downloaded or otherwise retained by an employer outside the platform.
5. Candidate sourcing, communications and access requests
Voceer may allow employers to discover candidates, start private conversations, manage existing recruitment conversations and request access to private CV and contact information. The employer is responsible for the content, recipients and lawful use of its recruitment communications and candidate information. Employers must comply with applicable data protection, privacy, electronic communications and marketing rules.
Free and paid services may have different allowances for initiating new CV/contact access requests or new CV Database conversations. Current allowances may be shown within the service, plan information or relevant product pages and may be changed prospectively as the service develops. Replies, existing recruitment relationships or applicant communications may be treated differently from new sourcing activity.
Plan allowances do not create a right to send spam or automated bulk outreach. We may apply additional rate limits, burst controls, duplicate-request protections, anti-automation measures and other safeguards regardless of plan. We may restrict activity where we reasonably believe an account is scraping candidate information, automating outreach, attempting to evade limits, generating excessive unwanted contact or otherwise misusing the service.
An employer must not represent a CV/contact request as approval or assume that a jobseeker has agreed to disclose private information until the platform records the relevant access. Employers must respect declined requests and must not attempt to circumvent a candidate's choice or Voceer's request controls.
6. Employer CRM subscriptions
Voceer may offer Free and paid employer plans. The features, limits and prices shown on the plan or checkout page at the time of purchase form part of your subscription terms.
- Monthly subscriptions: charged in advance for each monthly billing period and automatically renew each month until cancelled.
- Annual subscriptions: charged in advance for each annual billing period and automatically renew each year until cancelled.
- Cancellation: you may cancel at any time. Cancellation stops the next automatic renewal and your paid access normally continues until the end of the billing period you have already paid for.
- No part-period refunds: payments already made are not normally refunded or credited for unused days or months after cancellation, except where required by law, where we have charged you in error, or where we expressly agree otherwise.
- Annual plans: if you cancel during an annual billing period, the annual payment already made is retained and your paid access normally continues until the end of that annual billing period.
- Failed payments: we may restrict or suspend paid features if a payment fails or remains outstanding.
Subscription payments may be processed by a third-party payment provider. We do not require you to provide card details directly to Voceer where the payment provider collects them on our behalf.
7. Job credits and AI Job Upload
AI Job Upload may require prepaid job credits. Job credits are non-refundable once purchased except where required by law, where we have charged you in error, or where we expressly agree otherwise.
AI-assisted content can contain errors, omissions or unsuitable wording. Employers are responsible for reviewing and approving all generated job content before it is published or relied upon. Voceer does not guarantee that generated content will be complete, accurate, legally compliant or suitable for a particular vacancy.
8. Privacy and data security
We take privacy and security seriously and use reasonable and proportionate technical and organisational measures designed to protect information handled through Voceer. We regularly seek to maintain and improve those safeguards. However, no website, online service, transmission method or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure, uninterrupted or immune from every cyber incident, human error or third-party failure.
You should use appropriate passwords, protect your devices and promptly report suspected account or security issues. Our handling of personal information is also described in our Privacy Policy.
9. Service availability and changes
We aim to keep Voceer available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Services may occasionally be unavailable because of maintenance, upgrades, outages, security work, third-party service failures or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
We may update, improve, replace or discontinue features where reasonably necessary. We will try to avoid materially reducing a paid service during an active paid period without good reason and will provide any remedy required by law.
10. Acceptable use
You must not use Voceer to:
- break the law or infringe another person’s rights;
- upload malware, harmful code or deliberately interfere with the platform;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to accounts, data or systems;
- scrape, harvest or extract candidate, CV, contact or other data in a way that is not expressly permitted;
- use bots, scripts, automation or multiple accounts to mass-request candidate information, mass-initiate conversations or evade normal user interaction and safeguards;
- send spam, fraudulent messages, deceptive job adverts, abusive content or unlawful unsolicited communications;
- circumvent or attempt to circumvent plan allowances, rate limits, anti-abuse controls, candidate choices, security controls or access restrictions.
11. Third-party services
Voceer may rely on third-party providers for functions such as hosting, email delivery, analytics, payments, job distribution and other infrastructure. Their systems may occasionally affect the availability or operation of Voceer. Where you follow a link to, or directly use, a third-party service, that provider may also apply its own terms.
12. Intellectual property
Voceer and its software, branding, design and platform content are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of content you lawfully submit, but grant us the permissions reasonably necessary to host, process, display and transmit that content in order to provide the service.
13. Suspension and termination
We may restrict, suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary to protect users or the platform, investigate suspected misuse, respond to legal or security requirements, address non-payment, or deal with a material breach of these Terms. Where appropriate, we will try to give notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue.
14. Account deletion and retention
You may request deletion of your account. Deletion does not necessarily mean every record is removed immediately. We may retain limited information where reasonably necessary for legal, regulatory, security, fraud-prevention, billing, dispute-resolution or backup purposes. Information previously accessed or independently retained by an employer may remain under that employer’s control.
15. Recruitment outcomes and user decisions
Voceer provides recruitment technology and does not act as an employer, recruitment decision-maker or guarantor of employment. Employers remain responsible for their hiring decisions, checks, offers and compliance obligations. Jobseekers remain responsible for deciding which opportunities to pursue and for verifying information relevant to them.
16. Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
Subject to the paragraph above and to the maximum extent permitted by law, Voceer is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, revenue, business opportunity or goodwill, or loss caused by matters outside our reasonable control. For paid employer services, our total aggregate liability arising from the affected paid service will not exceed the amount paid to Voceer for that service during the 12 months immediately before the event giving rise to the claim, except where a different limit is required by law.
17. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect changes to our services, pricing, technology, security practices or legal obligations. Material changes will take effect from the date stated in the updated Terms and, where appropriate, we may provide additional notice. Changes will not retrospectively alter amounts already paid for a completed billing period.
18. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Courts in England and Wales will have jurisdiction over disputes, subject to any mandatory rights or jurisdiction rules that cannot lawfully be excluded.
19. Contact and support
If you have questions about these Terms, billing, privacy or technical support, contact support@voceer.com.
By using Voceer, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to these Terms and Conditions.
