Service Engineer in Shropshire, West Midlands

Job Details:

• Pay: £35,000 to £40,000 Per Annum depending on experience

• Hours of Work: 8 am–4:30 pm Monday to Thursday & 8 am–2 pm Friday (flexibility required)

• Duration: Permanent

• Benefits: Company Van, 20 days holiday + bank holidays, Pension scheme

Job Role: The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing overhead crane systems across various customer sites. You will lead or assist in commissioning, conduct preventative maintenance, and perform emergency repairs. This hands-on role requires diagnosing faults, implementing system upgrades, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. You will also offer technical support to clients and maintain detailed service records. Excellent communication, flexibility, and a commitment to high-quality service delivery are key to success in this position.

Essential Skills, Experience, or Qualifications:

• Qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering

• Experience with overhead crane systems

• Electrical and mechanical systems knowledge

• Strong problem-solving and communication skills

• Full UK Driving Licence

Advantageous Skills, Experience, or Qualifications:

• LEEA certification

• Familiarity with industry standards

Additional Information:

• Travel required across the Shropshire/Midlands and occasionally beyond

• Weekend work and staying away may be necessary
