What you will do:
- Operate as the sole Occupational Therapist on site, providing essential support and interventions to adults with Autism and mental health challenges.
- Leverage your recent experience in mental health to assess, plan, and implement therapeutic strategies tailored to individual needs.
- Utilize your knowledge and optionally your Sensory Integration (SI) training to deliver specialist interventions.
- Work independently using your initiative to manage cases and collaborate with other professionals as needed.
- Be a part of the new complex care Mental Health ward, contributing to its development and success.
Requirements:
- Must be a registered member of the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar setting with a focus on mental health and Autism.
- A car driver is preferable to facilitate travel between sites.
