What You’ll Be Doing

• Provide specialist speech and language therapy as part of a wider clinical team across both school and residential settings.

• Conduct detailed assessments, formulations, and interventions tailored to children and young people with neurodevelopmental differences, developmental trauma, and complex needs.

• Deliver individual and group therapy sessions, while actively contributing to EHCPs and educational planning.

• Offer expert guidance to school staff and residential care teams, enhancing their understanding of communication strategies and therapeutic approaches.

• Participate in regular case reviews, multi-agency collaboration, and reflective supervision.

• Contribute to shaping therapeutic environments that empower students to engage, grow, and succeed.

Who We’re Looking For

• A HCPC-registered Speech and Language Therapist with a proven track record in working with children and young people.

• Strong experience in ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and other communication difficulties.

• Excellent interpersonal and teamworking skills, with a proactive and confident approach to supporting colleagues.

• A skilled communicator, capable of building rapport with young people and their families.

• Previous experience in team supervision or training delivery is highly desirable.

• A valid driving licence is essential due to occasional travel between sites.
