This is a frontline family support role focused on delivering early intervention, reducing escalation to statutory services, and improving outcomes for children, young people, and their families.The service works in a restorative and strengths-based way, supporting families to identify their own solutions and build sustainable change. You will work closely with multi-agency partners to deliver coordinated support, high challenge and high support, and positive long-term outcomes.Key Responsibilities Undertake holistic Early Help Assessments with children, young people, and families to identify needs and strengthsDevelop and coordinate outcome-focused family support plans in collaboration with families and partner agenciesDeliver direct intervention work with individuals, families, and groups covering areas such as emotional wellbeing, behavioural challenges, substance misuse, healthy relationships, and family dynamicsAct as lead professional for allocated cases, coordinating multi-agency input through the Team Around the Family approachPromote restorative practice principles to support families in identifying and achieving their own solutionsProvide information, advice, and guidance to support children and young people’s emotional, social, and personal developmentEngage with schools, colleges, and community settings to deliver preventative support and early interventionEnsure the voice of the child and family is central to all assessments, planning, and reviewsRepresent the service at multi-agency meetings, case discussions, and community events where requiredMaintain accurate, timely case records and provide feedback to referrers and partner agenciesStay up to date with relevant legislation, policy changes, and local practice developmentsContribute to service performance targets and key performance indicators (KPIs) within Early Help services Requirements Qualified Social Worker with Social Work England registrationExperience working within children’s services, Early Help, or family support settingsStrong understanding of safeguarding, child development, and multi-agency workingExperience of delivering direct intervention and strengths-based practiceAbility to manage a caseload and act as lead professionalStrong communication, assessment, and report writing skillsCommitment to restorative practice and improving outcomes for children and familiesFlexibility to work 3 days per week onsite in Portsmouth Why Work with Seven Resourcing?At Seven Resourcing, we go beyond recruitment.
