What you will do:
- Engage with adults who have learning disabilities, providing exceptional social work support.
- Confidently complete Community Deprivation of Liberty (DoL) work and manage associated court paperwork.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the well-being and personal development of service users.
- Develop individual care plans and conduct regular assessments to monitor progress.
- Support the project aimed at addressing the backlog of individuals requiring a Community DoL.
- Communicate effectively with families and carers, ensuring everyone is informed and involved in decision-making processes.
- Advocate for the rights and needs of the individuals under your care, ensuring their voices are heard and valued.
We are looking for a qualified and experienced Social Worker who can manage Community DoL work with ease and contribute to a team effort to reduce backlog. The contract may extend for those who shine in their role.
