What you will do:

- Participate in the Emergency Duty Team rota, embracing the variety of evening, overnight, weekend, and holiday shifts.
- Field calls from local authority colleagues, agencies, and the public, assessing and prioritising appropriately.
- Assess risks and needs in emergency situations, implementing swift and effective interventions.
- Liaise with statutory and voluntary agencies to ensure the best outcomes for service users.
- Maintain precise records and produce high-quality written reports as required.
- Encourage clients to make informed choices, respecting their views and wishes.
- Build strong relationships with clients, families, and carers while respecting privacy and confidentiality.
- Make autonomous decisions in managing your workload while cooperating smoothly with other professionals.
- Provide emotional support and make crucial safeguarding decisions for vulnerable adults and children.
- Contribute to team meetings, training, and supervision sessions to improve practice and service delivery.
