Applications are invited from dedicated and enthusiastic Registered Nurses, Allied Health Professionals or Social Workers to join the Adult Learning Disabilities Community Living service as Band 5 Team Leader on the beautiful Island of Guernsey, in the Channel Islands.Reporting to the Band 6 Deputy Manager, you provide and oversee the care and support for Service Users with complex Learning Disabilities in their own homes and in the community, leading and motivating the Band 3 and Band 4 Support Workers in your team. The service users have a variety of both physical and psychological needs, and require assistance with daily living tasks, and to access the wider community.Guernsey provides a comprehensive and high quality Health and Social Care service to Adults with Learning Disabilities over 18 across the island.Please note; Guernsey has adopted the AfC banding system, but have applied their own salary scale.The current Band 5 salary range is £36,900 to £47,590 plus an annual bonus of £1,605 and higher unsocial hours enhancements; 36% evening/Saturday and 72% Sunday/BH.The island of Guernsey is in the Channel Islands and has a population of 65,000.
