We're looking for enthusiastic and experienced Forklift Drivers to join our clients busy and growing international removals team in Thurrock.As Removals Forklift Driver, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining all aspects of the warehouse facility and operating forklift equipment involved in providing an efficient and effective warehouse services in relation to their business of moving customers household/ personal possessions.Removals Forklift Driver duties include: Managing the checking in and out of goodsMoving and unloading storage containers (manual handing)Providing assistance to the HGV Drivers and Porters in the moving and handling of customer goods when requiredOperating the forklift and physically lifting (aided and unaided) onto vehicles or into locationCompleting the necessary paperworkUndertake forklift safety checks and report any defects.Following H&S Guidelines and carrying out Banks-person duties when requiredUndertake regular training as required We're keen to speak to experienced forklift drivers with who hold valid Reach and Counterbalance licences as well as the warehouse and problem solving skills this position demands.
