What you will do:

• Manage a caseload of children and young people subject to youth justice interventions, including out-of-court disposals, community orders, and post-court requirements.
• Complete assessments using recognised youth justice frameworks to identify offending-related risks, safety concerns, and protective factors.
• Develop, implement, and review intervention plans that address offending behaviour, reduce reoffending, and promote positive development.
• Prepare high-quality reports for courts, referral order panels, youth justice meetings, and safeguarding processes.

Person Specification:

Qualifications:

• Degree or professional qualification in Social Work, Youth Justice, Criminology, Probation Studies, Youth Work, or a related discipline.
• Relevant professional registration where applicable (e.g. Social Work England).
• Evidence of continuous professional development in youth justice, safeguarding, or child welfare.

Experience:

• Experience working with children and young people in youth justice, social care, education, probation, or community safety settings.
• Experience managing cases involving offending behaviour, vulnerability, and safeguarding concerns.
