What you will do:
- Conduct comprehensive mental health nursing assessments and manage care planning and evaluation for service users.
- Offer therapeutic interventions and support to individuals experiencing acute mental illness, ensuring compassionate and effective patient care.
- Administer, monitor, and evaluate medication, adhering to NMC standards and Trust guidelines.
- Perform risk assessments related to self-harm, suicide, vulnerability, and aggression, implementing effective risk management plans.
Qualifications:
- Possess a Registered Mental Health Nurse qualification (RNMH/RMN) and a Degree or Diploma in Mental Health Nursing.
- Show evidence of continuing professional development applicable to mental health practice.
Experience:
- Demonstrated experience from mental health nursing placements or post-registration practice within various service settings.
- A comprehensive understanding of acute mental health care and recovery-focused care models.
- Proven experience in supporting individuals with severe mental health conditions.
