What you will do:
- Manage the clinical care of a caseload of service users aged 14-65.
- Participate in the duty rota, providing support as a triage worker and backup assessment practitioner.
- Encourage and empower clients in their treatment and recovery journeys.
- Promote self-help and independence among clients as much as possible.
- Support health promotion initiatives and act as a consultant to community services regarding mental health issues.
- Adhere to safeguarding principles and participate in related investigations.
- Conduct specialised mental health assessments following relevant legislation.
- Develop and implement risk management plans for vulnerable clients using the Risk Assessment Tool.
Requirements of the Community Psychiatric Nurse:
- A degree or equivalent qualification in Mental Health Nursing.
- Experience working as a Mental Health Nurse with an active NMC Registration.
