Social Worker - Corporate Parenting Team - Hounslow, UK - £37.52 p/h Hourly. Ongoing Contract.

The London Borough of Hounslow is seeking a skilled Social Worker to join their Corporate Parenting Team. This exciting opportunity is based at Hounslow House, 7 Bath Road (TW3 3EB), with flexibility in working hours. Full-time hours are typically 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday, although we offer flexible working options, such as 8am to 6pm for four days a week or other variations. Part-time work is also considered.

What you will do:
- Support children and young people who are Looked After permanently, ensuring their needs are met and safeguarded.
- Deliver interventions that effect long-term positive changes, desired to improve the life experiences of vulnerable children and young people.
- Maintain a caseload which includes Looked After Children and Unaccompanied Asylum Seeking Children, working towards the best interests of each individual.
- Conduct evidence-based assessments and develop clear care plans for all allocated cases.
- Collaborate closely with children, their families, and professionals to provide comprehensive support within Hounslow’s Children’s Specialist Services.

Requirements of the Social Worker:
- Degree or equivalent in social work.
- Current Social Work England registration.
- Significant frontline experience in UK Social Services, working effectively as a qualified Social Worker.
