What you will do:
- Oversee the daily operational business of the team and ensure high-quality, customer-focused service delivery.
- Provide strong leadership to your team, directing them on strategy and policy while ensuring that government initiatives are integrated into practice.
- Maintain effective communication internally and externally with other departments and organizations such as Education, Housing, Health, and police.
- Ensure that case management is centred on child safety and the best interests of each child while optimising team workload distribution.
- Conduct regular supervision meetings with team members, monitor their performance, and provide guidance where necessary.
- Manage budgets diligently to ensure resources are used efficiently and in line with financial regulations, offering value for money.
- Be actively involved in partnership work and represent the service in external settings such as court or inter-agency meetings.
