What you will do:

- Work independently within a multi-disciplinary team to assess, plan, and implement tailored care programs under the Care Programme Approach.
- Conduct mental health assessments using your expert skills and evidence-based practices.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, carers, colleagues, and external agencies, adapting your communication methods as needed.
- Partner with patients to agree on treatment goals and proposals, ensuring valid informed consent is obtained.
- Handle patient discharge efficiently and liaise with primary care colleagues and community agencies for seamless care transition.
- Support junior staff in managing complex cases and develop therapeutic group programs.
- Supervise voluntary staff and students, fostering a supportive learning environment.
- Manage your caseload efficiently and participate in team meetings, clinical supervision, and an appraisal process.
