About the role
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Band 6/7 Orthotist to join a well-established Allied Health Professionals service in Birmingham. This ongoing role offers both part-time and full-time flexibility and involves working across multiple sites within the city, providing a varied and rewarding clinical experience.
This position is ideally suited to an Orthotist with a minimum of two years’ post-qualification experience who is HCPC registered and passionate about delivering high-quality, patient-centred orthotic care.

What you will do

Undertake comprehensive patient assessments and provide bespoke orthotic solutions tailored to individual needs.

Design, fit, and review orthotic devices to optimise patient mobility, comfort, and outcomes.

Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated, holistic care.

Maintain accurate, detailed clinical records in line with service and professional standards.

Contribute to service improvement initiatives, audits, and quality assurance activities.

Provide education and advice to patients, carers, and families regarding orthotic use and care.

Keep up to date with advancements in orthotic technology, materials, and clinical practice.
Essential requirements

HCPC registration as an Orthotist.

Minimum of 2 years’ post-qualification experience.

Strong clinical assessment and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively within MDTs.

Flexibility to work across multiple sites; car driver preferred to support travel between locations.
