What you will do:

- Manage a complex caseload, including high-risk and safeguarding cases, while ensuring timely and effective interventions.
- Lead and carry out comprehensive assessments and care planning, ensuring person-centred and strengths-based approaches.
- Chair or contribute to strategy meetings, case conferences, and reviews, ensuring all voices are heard and considered.
- Conduct safeguarding enquiries, ensuring statutory responses are met promptly and effectively.
- Provide supervision and guidance to social workers or ASYEs as needed, fostering professional growth and development.
- Make informed risk-based decisions, ensuring concerns are escalated and addressed appropriately.
- Collaborate closely with multi-agency partners, including health, police, education, and housing teams, to ensure holistic care.
- Maintain compliance with statutory duties, local policies, and court requirements, preparing necessary court reports and evidence.
- Advocate for service improvement, promoting continuous development within the team.
