What you will do:
- Lead and oversee quality assurance and safeguarding practices across social work operations.
- Monitor and enhance practice standards, ensuring compliance and improving decision-making quality.
- Conduct and guide case file audits and practice reviews to promote best practices.
- Respond effectively to safeguarding concerns, managing risk escalation proactively.
- Support the implementation of learning from serious case reviews and incidents, such as CSPRs.
- Collaborate with multi-agency partners to strengthen safeguarding systems and thresholds.
- Provide supervision, guidance, and professional support to staff or QA officers.
- Produce reports for senior leadership, inspectors, and safeguarding boards to support transparency and accountability.
- Contribute to service improvement, policy development, and preparation for inspections.
