What you will do:

• Manage a caseload of children with disabilities, completing Child and Family Assessments in line with statutory timescales.
• Develop, implement, and review care plans, including Child in Need, Child Protection, and Looked After Children plans.
• Undertake safeguarding enquiries under Section 47 of the Children Act 1989, ensuring risks are identified and managed appropriately.
• Work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams, including education, health professionals, and SEND services.
• Coordinate and contribute to Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) in line with the SEND Code of Practice.

Person Specification:

Qualifications:

• Degree in Social Work (BA/MA Social Work or equivalent).

Registration & Compliance:

• Registered with Social Work England.
• Sound knowledge of the Children Act 1989 & 2004, Care Act 2014, and SEND Code of Practice.
• Understanding of safeguarding procedures and statutory guidance, including Working Together to Safeguard Children.
