This is an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Team Manager to dive into the heart of the Fostering Service Team within Fostering in Wrexham. You'll be part of an excellent, supportive, and friendly management team, working full time to ensure the seamless daily operations of the Fostering Service. As the Assistant Team Manager, you'll lead a team of passionate Social Workers, providing supervision and management oversight with a keen eye for detail. This role includes being responsive to day-to-day issues, offering guidance when needed, and participating in a management duty rota one day a week.

What you will do:

• Lead and supervise a team of committed Social Workers within the Fostering Service Team.
• Provide management oversight and advice, ensuring the team operates effectively daily.
• Assess and support foster carers, including those involved with Supported Lodgings, Special Guardianship Orders, and connected persons.
• Participate in an established management duty rota one day per week.
• Address and resolve any arising day-to-day issues within the team efficiently.
• Promote a positive and supportive environment for both your team and the carers you assist.
