What you will do:
- Undertake comprehensive Child and Family Assessments, including Section 17 and Section 47 enquiries, ensuring robust analysis of risk and need.
- Lead on complex cases involving safeguarding concerns, care planning, and interventions to support children in remaining safely at home.
- Develop and implement outcome-focused plans in partnership with children, families, and carers, promoting strengths-based practice.
- Work closely with multi-agency partners including health, education, and police to coordinate effective safeguarding responses.
Person Specification:
Qualifications:
- Degree in Social Work (BA/MA or equivalent)
- Evidence of continued professional development
Registration & Compliance:
- Registered with Social Work England
- Sound knowledge of relevant legislation, including:
- Children Act 1989 & 2004
- Working Together to Safeguard Children (latest guidance)
- Human Rights Act and Equality Act 2010
