What you will do:

• Lead the screening, triage, and assessment of safeguarding referrals received through Family Connect and the MASH
• Make informed decisions regarding thresholds for Early Help, Child in Need, Child Protection, and Section 47 enquiries
• Coordinate multi-agency information gathering and analysis to support timely safeguarding decision-making
• Provide professional consultation, advice, and mentoring to Social Workers, Family Support Practitioners, and partner agencies

Qualifications and experience:

• Degree or equivalent qualification in Social Work
• Registered with Social Work England
• Evidence of ongoing professional development relevant to children and families social work
• Significant post-qualification experience within Children's Social Care
• Proven experience within a MASH, Front Door, Duty and Assessment or Referral and Assessment service
• Experience managing complex safeguarding concerns involving children and families
