What you will do

• Lead and enhance specialist clinical pharmacy services tailored for Mental Health.
• Participate in consultant ward rounds, offering key pharmaceutical insights and advice.
• Deliver medicines optimisation and medicines reconciliation services to ensure safe patient care.
• Champion the effective and evidence-based use of medicines within the team.
• Drive the development and implementation of pharmacy policies and service advancements.
• Monitor and promote formulary compliance through prescribing practice reviews.
• Investigate medication incidents to ensure high standards of governance and patient safety.
• Lead clinical audits and various service improvement projects to enhance healthcare quality.
• Provide comprehensive education and training to healthcare professionals and pharmacy staff.
• Supervise and guide junior pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and trainee pharmacists.
