What you will do

• Manage an inpatient physical health rehabilitation caseload focused on neurorehabilitation and general medicine.

• Conduct thorough assessments and develop tailored treatment plans for patients within the neuro and general medical rehabilitation services.

• Complete functional assessments supporting rehabilitation goals and discharge planning.

• Recommend and facilitate the provision of appropriate equipment to enhance patient independence.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver cohesive, patient-centred Occupational Therapy interventions.

• Maintain meticulous clinical records and documentation.

• Monitor patient progress, reviewing and adjusting rehabilitation outcomes to achieve optimal results.

Requirements

• A degree or diploma in Occupational Therapy and HCPC registration.

• Experience at Band 6 level in Occupational Therapy within NHS inpatient rehabilitation settings.

• Expertise in neurorehabilitation and general medicine.

• Strong clinical reasoning and assessment skills, with an ability to manage an autonomous caseload.

• Excellent communication and organisational abilities.

Desirable

• Experience with SystmOne and working within multidisciplinary inpatient teams.
