Provide comprehensive occupational therapy interventions, using your understanding of the relationship between occupation and mental health to support clients in maintaining, restoring, or developing effective matches between abilities and environmental demands
Lead and deliver individual and group interventions, applying advanced clinical reasoning to meet the complex needs of individuals with significant mental health challenges affecting occupational performance
Liaise and negotiate with professionals across multiple settings to ensure cohesive and effective service delivery
Mentor and supervise less experienced therapists and support staff, promoting professional growth and development
Act as a specialist clinician and resource within the team, championing social inclusion and employment-related initiatives to improve service users’ quality of life
Facilitate occupational therapy student fieldwork placements, contributing to academic and practical learning
