Band 6 Occupational Therapist – Mental Health Practitioner required for an ongoing locum opportunity based in Ormskirk. What you will do:

Act as a core registered mental health practitioner, supporting service users with a wide range of mental health needs
Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to deliver holistic, person-centred care
Assess, plan, implement, and review care pathways for individuals with complex mental health presentations
Undertake risk assessments and manage care appropriately to promote safety and wellbeing
Participate in duty work on a rotational basis, coordinating care and organising complex meetings
Regularly review treatment plans and support transitions to primary care or alternative services in agreement with the MDT
Manage a defined caseload effectively, supported by regular supervision and guidance

The Preston West Team is committed to innovation and collaboration, working closely with service users, families, and carers. This role requires autonomous practice and confident decision-making, guided by evidence-based frameworks and established protocols. You will receive both line management and clinical supervision from the Team Manager.

HCPC registration is essential, and being a confident car driver is advantageous due to the nature of the role.
