Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver a high-quality, responsive social work service to adults and carers

  • Provide effective managerial leadership, including supervision, appraisal, and performance management of staff

  • Offer professional advice, guidance, consultation, and coaching to team members

  • Manage day-to-day team operations, ensuring compliance with the Waiting Well Policy

  • Safeguard adults with care and support needs in line with statutory duties and best practice

  • Deputise for the Team Manager as required and contribute to service, policy, and practice development

  • Lead, motivate, and support staff while working collaboratively with other assistant team managers

  • Promote and embed strength-based practice across the service
