Lead the planning, preparation, resourcing and delivery of the curriculum in Science.  Oversee the adaptation of learning to the needs of the students within the subject. Lead the Science team in all aspects of teaching and learning, enabling effective and impactful lessons to be taught to students in Science. Build relationships with students and colleagues and maintain positive learning and working environments Lead the department assessment and recording of students' work in line with school policy Lead on the use of appropriate data to inform intervention and target setting for students Manage behaviour in accordance with school policy and support the team with behaviour management within the subject Act as a tutor / co-tutor for a form group, including the delivery of PSHE Carry out supervision duties (e.g. at break time) in accordance with the duty rota Report on student progress to parents / carers in line with school calendar Adhere to all school policies and procedures, including those related to safeguarding  What are we looking for?
