Location: Oxfordshire (South East Oxfordshire or North East Oxfordshire – Cherwell District)
Job Type: Temporary
Pay Rate: £22.00 - £24.00 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm (Full-time or Part-time, 3-4 days per week considered)

Seven Resourcing is seeking an experienced Young Person's Substance Misuse Worker to join a specialist service supporting children and young people across Oxfordshire. This is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact by helping young people affected by substance misuse, providing tailored support and promoting positive outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one support, advice and interventions for children and young people affected by substance misuse.
• Carry out assessments, develop support plans and review progress.
• Build positive relationships with young people, families and partner agencies.
• Work collaboratively with education, health and social care professionals to deliver effective support.
• Maintain accurate case records and complete all required documentation.
• Safely manage a caseload while working across various locations in Oxfordshire.
• Promote safeguarding, wellbeing and recovery-focused approaches in all aspects of your work.

Applicant Requirements

• Previous experience working within substance misuse, recovery or addiction services.
• Experience supporting children and young people is essential.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Confident using IT systems to record case notes and manage workloads.
• An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
• Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle, as regular travel across Oxfordshire is required.
