What you will do:

- Deliver comprehensive Occupational Therapy assessments and interventions within an inpatient setting.
- Conduct detailed assessments of functional ability and rehabilitation needs.
- Take the lead in discharge planning to ensure smooth patient flow and effective resource management.
- Provide and recommend equipment tailored to support independence and ensure safe discharge.
- Develop, implement, and review patient-centric treatment plans.
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- Support patients in maximising their functional outcomes and maintaining their independence.
- Keep meticulously accurate clinical records and produce detailed reports.

Requirements:

- Degree or Diploma in Occupational Therapy with current HCPC registration.
- Demonstrable experience in Band 6 or Band 7 Occupational Therapy roles, especially in an acute inpatient setting.
- Proven ability to conduct thorough assessments and possess strong clinical reasoning skills.
- Expertise in managing an inpatient caseload independently, alongside excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Previous experience in a Band 7 role, rehabilitation, or weekend working within multidisciplinary inpatient teams.
