An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Social Worker or Experienced Social Worker to join the Fostering Service in Wrexham, earning £38.43 hourly with an ongoing contract.

The Fostering Service is pivotal in ensuring safe and vibrant futures for children and young people. The team is responsible for recruiting and supporting foster carers across various roles, including Generic Foster Carers, Champion Foster Carers, and families with Special Guardianship Orders. You will be based within one of four dedicated hubs, with the flexibility to support other hubs as needed. What you will do:

- Assess and support foster carers to ensure they provide a high-quality care environment for children and young people.
- Collaborate with multiple teams within the fostering hubs to deliver comprehensive service.
- Develop care plans and conduct reviews, ensuring children's needs are met effectively.
- Recruit and train new foster carers, coordinating ongoing training sessions.
- Provide advice and information to foster carers, enabling them to deal with complex situations confidently.
- Monitor and evaluate placements, ensuring compliance with national standards and fostering service protocols.
