What you will do

  • Assess, implement, and evaluate programmes of person-centred care within a dynamic multidisciplinary team.
  • Develop treatment and support plans aimed at enhancing function and quality of life.
  • Create a therapeutic group programme catered to a diverse range of individuals with neurological conditions.
  • Lead a small team of therapy assistants and activities coordinators, fostering an environment of collaboration and improvement.
  • Advance your knowledge and capabilities in equipment provision and seating as part of continuous professional development.
  • Engage in regular supervision and peer support with fellow occupational therapists and allied health professionals, broadening your expertise in neurological rehabilitation.

About you

  • Hold a Diploma or Degree in Occupational Therapy with valid registration from the Health & Care Professions Council.
  • Demonstrate evidence of continued professional development, showing your commitment to learning.
  • Exhibit the ability to work autonomously, effectively setting and supporting team priorities.
  • Possess excellent leadership and team-building skills, with a knack for cultivating strong working relationships.
  • Experience in relevant settings, including practice placements, is desirable.
