What you will do
- Take charge of the Special Care Unit, ensuring effective coordination of care delivery and staff management.
- Communicate proactively with the Multi-Disciplinary Team, families, and UK hospitals to maintain continuity of care.
- Work autonomously while playing a significant role in care delivery, keeping an unwavering professional presence.
- Act as a mentor and role model, supporting and developing colleagues and leading by example.
- Lead resuscitation efforts before the consultant's arrival during out-of-hours situations and provide expert care for neonates of all acuity levels.
- Stabilise babies with the medical team when necessary, awaiting the medical air transfer team for comprehensive care delivery.
