Based in various locations around the picturesque City of Wolverhampton, you will be at the heart of ensuring our facilities are safe, clean, and secure. This is an ongoing position with a field workstyle, reporting to the Area Facilities Officer, with a salary of £13.69 per hour.

What you will do:
- Maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of our sites ensuring they are in line with required standards at all times.
- Distribute materials, parcels, and furniture effectively to support the operational needs of various locations.
- Ensure the security of premises by unlocking gates and doors in the morning, activating alarm systems, and locking up in the evening.
- Act as the site safety officer, ensuring the safety and well-being of all site users.
- Perform risk assessments and attend to any urgent cleaning or repair tasks as they arise.
- Liaise with local police to maintain a safe environment and advise staff on security measures.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify and address damages, wear and tear, or vandalism.
- Maintain heating and lighting, ensuring the facilities are comfortable and functional.
- Test fire alarms and emergency lighting to uphold safety regulations across all sites.
- Assist with grounds maintenance, ensuring pathways and open areas are kept tidy and hazard-free.
