What you will do
- Take statutory case responsibility for children on Placement Orders with a care plan of adoption, ensuring their needs are met every step of the way.
- Collaborate with RAA Adoption Lancashire Blackpool to manage and track cases for children in the court arena, attending care planning meetings and progressing adoption matches.
- Maintain the child's voice as central to all processes, including the creation of documents such as the Child Permanence Report and life story work.
- Prepare each child for their adoption journey, supporting their understanding of changes in their lives and helping them understand their identity and history.
- Support both the child and adoptive family until the adoption order is complete, providing robust evidence to court when required.
- Engage in opportunities for professional development by taking on roles that improve service delivery and quality control.
