What you will do
- Respond to referrals from the Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH).
- Conduct necessary assessments and develop individual plans for children and families.
- Participate in the Duty Service, responding to critical cases every four weeks.
- Manage Child in Need (CIN), Child Protection (CP), and Public Law Outline (PLO) cases efficiently.
- Collaborate with a team of social workers, a team manager, and an assistant team manager.
- Engage children in your work, ensuring their voices and needs are central to all assessments and plans.
Essential skills
- Strong communication abilities for interacting with children, families, and professionals.
- Experience in managing CIN/CP and PLO cases, with competency in Section 47 investigations.
- Ability to analyse information critically and assess risk.
- Teamwork skills, coupled with the capacity for independent decision-making.
- Commitment to high practice standards and a fast-paced work environment.
