What you will do:

• Provide short-term intervention typically lasting three working days, during which you will conduct enquiries to apply safeguarding thresholds, identify and address immediate risks, and meet or discuss with the person involved to establish their desired outcomes in relation to the safeguarding enquiry.
• Conduct mental capacity assessments and make best interest decisions when necessary to ensure the service user's needs are at the forefront.
• Identify all involved parties in the person's care and who should participate in the enquiry.
• Facilitate strategy meetings or discussions to ensure a comprehensive approach to each case.

Key Experience:

• You must be a qualified Social Worker, registered with Social Work England, bringing with you rich experience in social work methodologies and key legislation such as The Care Act, Mental Health Act, and Mental Capacity Act.
• Demonstrated experience in effective assessment, risk management, and multidisciplinary working.
• You will have a track record of creative and pragmatic partnership working with adults to meet their needs.
• Strong communication skills are a must, together with confidence in diplomacy, persuasion, and conflict management.
• Be a proactive individual worker with a flair for team collaboration.
• Excellent prioritisation and time management skills are essential, and a valid UK driving licence or access to a vehicle is preferred.
