Occupational Therapist within Housing Adaptations in Manchester UK earning up to 35 per hour Hourly. This is an ongoing opportunity for a skilled Occupational Therapist with housing adaptations experience at Manchester City Council. You will assess people in their own homes for adaptations, match applicants to available adapted homes, undertake viewings with applicants, and offer expert advice on rehousing options. This full-time role offers hybrid working with two days in the office each week, ensuring a flexible work-life balance. What you will do:
- Conduct assessments in individuals' homes to determine the need for adaptations.
- Match applicants with suitable adapted homes and support them during the viewing process.
- Provide top-notch advice and guidance on rehousing options, ensuring optimal housing outcomes.
- Effectively manage a caseload, offering advice and solutions to improve outcomes for diverse individuals.
- Conduct medical assessments for priority moving cases and complete comprehensive reports.
- Manage and find solutions for complex cases, ensuring a seamless rehousing transition.
Requirements:
- HCPC registration is required.
- Must hold a full UK driving licence and have access to a vehicle, enabling you to travel around Manchester effectively.
