We are thrilled to offer an unparalleled opportunity for a dynamic individual ready to make a significant impact as a Team Manager in our Children with Disabilities Service. Earn £45.00 per hour in this exciting locum role, with an ongoing initial contract of 3 months, and a full-time commitment of 36 hours per week. This role, nestled within the All Age Disabilities Service, CWP, provides a vital, specialist social work service to children aged 0-18, focusing on those with complex medical conditions, learning disabilities, and autism.

What you will do:

• Lead a team comprising approximately 5 social workers and an Advanced Practitioner, providing strong management oversight, support, and reflective supervision.
• Cultivate a culture of learning and systemic, relational practice that drives team development.
• Mentor and support students and social workers in their Assessed and Supported Year in Employment (ASYE).
• Collaborate with the leadership team to ensure positive outcomes for children and bolster team morale.
• Oversee effective, timely, and child-focused safeguarding measures for children with disabilities.
• Partner with adult services to facilitate positive transitions for children aged 14 to 18.
• Chair strategy discussions, lead pre-proceedings meetings, and manage care proceedings efficiently.
• Deliver quality assurance and informed decision making regarding care plans, CIN plans, and short breaks such as respite care.
• Ensure positive, impactful outcomes for children under our care.
