What you will do

• Perform high-quality general radiography examinations across various departments.
• Provide critical theatre radiography support during surgical procedures.
• Operate the Philips II imaging equipment with confidence to provide clear and accurate diagnostic images.
• Prepare and position patients with care and ensure they are informed throughout the process.
• Work closely with theatre teams and multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care.
• Adhere strictly to radiation safety protocols and maintain accurate imaging records.
• Manage patient flow efficiently within radiology services to ensure swift service delivery.
• Uphold standards of patient care, ensuring comfort and safety at all times.

Requirements

• A degree or diploma in Diagnostic Radiography.
• HCPC registration.
• Experience at a Band 6 Radiographer level, including general and theatre radiography.
• Proficiency in using Philips II imaging equipment.
• Strong ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
• Knowledge of radiation protection regulations.
• Experience within an acute hospital setting is essential.
• Previous NHS experience and experience in supporting orthopaedic and trauma theatres are desirable.
