Your working hours will be from 07:30 to 18:00 on Saturdays and Sundays.

What you will do

• Support the safe decontamination and reprocessing of endoscopy equipment.
• Clean, disinfect, and prepare endoscopes in line with infection prevention procedures.
• Ensure equipment is correctly handled and stored.
• Prepare equipment for clinical use.
• Support busy diagnostic endoscopy lists.
• Maintain accurate decontamination documentation.
• Adhere to all relevant decontamination and safety procedures.

Requirements

• Previous Endoscopy decontamination experience.
• Experience working within an Endoscopy environment.
• Good understanding of infection prevention procedures.
• Good understanding of decontamination procedures.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary Endoscopy service.
• Availability for weekend working.
• Relevant mandatory training.
• Occupational health clearance.

Desirable Requirements

• Experience supporting gastroscopy services.
• Experience supporting colonoscopy services.
