What you will do:
- Provide high-quality radiographic imaging in theatres, general X-ray and fluoroscopy, supporting a variety of surgical specialities.
- Operate mobile image intensifiers (C-arms) within theatre environments, ensuring safe and effective intra-operative imaging.
- Adhere strictly to IR(ME)R regulations, Ionising Radiation Regulations (IRR) and follow local radiation safety policies.
- Work collaboratively with consultants, surgeons, anaesthetists and theatre teams to efficiently meet imaging requirements during procedures.

Person Specification:
Qualifications:
- Degree or Diploma in Diagnostic Radiography
- Evidence of continuing professional development (CPD)
Registration & Compliance:
- Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
- Demonstrable knowledge of IR(ME)R 2017 and radiation protection legislation
- Awareness of CQC standards and clinical governance frameworks.
Experience:
- Proven experience in general radiography with significant exposure to theatre work and fluoroscopy.
- Experience in private healthcare or NHS acute hospital settings.
- Demonstrable experience supporting surgical procedures using mobile imaging systems.
