What you will do:

• Deliver efficient dispensary operations, ensuring the smooth running of pharmacy services.
• Minimise dispensing losses through accurate processing and attention to detail.
• Accurately dispense NHS and private prescriptions, ensuring compliance with legal and professional standards.
• Assist in the delivery of pharmacy services, providing safe and accurate medicines advice to customers.
• Order medicines and maintain optimal stock levels, ensuring the dispensary is well-prepared.
• Label and dispense prescriptions, endorsing them with appropriate claims.
• Keep meticulous pharmacy records and documentation to uphold the highest standards of practice.

Additional Information:

• An NHS Smartcard is required for this role.
• Your work will be in a community pharmacy setting, which is vibrant and rewarding.
• Main duties include providing efficient dispensary operations, dispensing both NHS and private prescriptions accurately, and maintaining pharmacy records among others.

Requirements:

• You must have completed an NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy Services through a GPhC accredited route.
• Community Pharmacy experience is essential, alongside experience dispensing NHS and private prescriptions.
• An understanding of pharmacy legislation and professional standards with excellent attention to detail.
• Good communication and customer service skills are key to interacting effectively with customers.

Desirable Requirements:

• Experience using Pharmacy Manager software or previous ASDA Pharmacy experience is a plus.
• Working within a busy community pharmacy environment will be beneficial.
