What you will do:
- Lead the provision of care resources to ensure quality homes for children in care and care leavers.
- Forge strong relationships with neighbourhoods and communities, fostering a culture of enablement.
- Drive the fulfilment of council priorities and ensure the delivery of impactful solutions.
- Manage the functional area including budget management and resource deployment.
- Act as the registered Responsible Individual with Ofsted, ensuring compliance and quality standards.
- Serve as a key decision-maker, deputising for the Assistant Director Children’s Standards and Regulation.
- Design and implement service delivery solutions, achieving efficiency and improved outcomes.
- Represent North Lincolnshire in regional and national forums, contributing to strategic developments.
- Lead collaborative efforts with partners to secure the best outcomes for children and families.

Requirements:
- Qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England and evidence of continued professional development.
- Level 5 management qualification or equivalent experience.
- Extensive knowledge and experience of working with vulnerable children and families.
- Proven track record in strategic policy implementation and leadership in multi-disciplinary environments.
- Ability to work flexibly, with a readiness to manage priorities and make impactful decisions.
