What you will do:
- Work autonomously as a specialist in neurological rehabilitation with highly developed skills and knowledge.
- Manage and prioritise a caseload of service users with complex needs, developing and executing tailored occupational therapy plans.
- Conduct thorough reassessments for each service user to establish personalised OT care plans.
- Liaise with service managers and regional managers to report on reassessment outcomes and care plans.
- Implement and evaluate treatment interventions, using evidence-based principles to address occupational performance and skill deficits.
- Create, monitor, and adapt care programmes, ensuring effectiveness through accurate data gathering and documentation.
- Engage empathetically with service users and their families, providing support and guidance throughout the rehabilitation process.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive and cohesive care delivery.
- Uphold professional standards in documentation and reporting, aligning with RCOT guidance.
About you:
- Specialist Knowledge: Highly developed skills and knowledge in neurological rehabilitation.
- Caseload Management: Experience managing and prioritising a caseload of service users with complex needs.
- Assessment Skills: Ability to conduct comprehensive reassessments and develop personalised occupational therapy care plans.
- Communication Skills: Confident liaising with service managers, regional managers, service users, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Evidence-Based Practice: Skilled in implementing and evaluating treatment interventions using evidence-based principles.
- Professional Standards: Commitment to maintaining accurate documentation and reporting in line with RCOT guidance.
- Independent Working: Ability to work autonomously while contributing effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
