What you will do:

  • Provide a client-centred occupational therapy service to a defined caseload of service users with complex needs, collaborating closely with the local services and multi-disciplinary team members alongside the occupational therapy team.
  • Develop and implement a holistic framework of care that addresses service user needs, upholding the seven pillars of clinical governance.
  • Use evidence-based principles to apply clinical skills and reasoning in occupational therapy, focusing on assessment, treatment planning, intervention, and evaluation with both individual and group-focused approaches.
  • Be a vital resource for the team, offering professional occupational therapy guidance, and lead the evaluation and continued development of the occupational therapy service.
  • Provide leadership and assume responsibility for the direct supervision of less clinically experienced staff, support staff, and students, including conducting performance development reviews as appropriate.


Registration with HCPC is essential. A car driver would be advantageous to facilitate smooth operation across the service region.
