What you will do

  • Deliver high-quality nursing care as part of the Early Intervention Psychosis Team, helping patients navigate their mental health journey.
  • Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to craft bespoke care plans tailored to individual patient needs.
  • Carry out comprehensive assessments, regularly reviewing and adapting care plans as necessary.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families, empowering them to understand and manage their conditions.
  • Engage in regular supervision and training opportunities to ensure continual professional development.
  • Drive between various sites as needed to support service delivery.

Requirements

  • Professional Registration: Must hold valid NMC registration.
  • Community Mental Health Experience: Previous experience working within community mental health or psychosis services is highly desirable.
  • Driving Licence: A valid driving licence is essential for travel between sites.
  • Assessment Skills: Strong clinical assessment, care planning, and risk management skills.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities with a patient-centred approach.
